The main dining room at Tony’s new location in Clayton seats 68 at full capacity.
The following list is accurate as of a late-March press date.
By all accounts, March was a great month on the local dining scene. Two of the most extravagant and elaborate restaurants of the year opened their doors (Casa Don Alfonso and Tony's/Anthony's Bar, relocated to Clayton from downtown), along with the first Missouri outpost of a highly regarded chain (Uncle Julio's). All three made SLM's "10 most anticipated restaurants" list for 2021. Among the reopenings were 9 Mile Garden, Bogart's Smokehouse, Head's Store, and the Steak 'n Shake in Arnold, the latter under a new self-service model. The lone closure was the official shuttering of the 13-year-old Tigin Irish Pub on Wash Ave. downtown, which has not poured a Guinness since March of last year.
Changes and additions are in full boldface.
