We're thrilled to have you as a podcast guest!

You should have received a Google Calendar invitation from Kylie Green LeMoyne (kgreen@stlmag.com) confirming the date and time of your interview, as well as the address of our studio (2816 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood, MO 63143). Contact the podcast host if you have yet to receive an invitation. Review these tips prior to arriving to ensure a great experience for yourself and our listeners.

Environment:

  • Silence your phone.
  • Don't shuffle papers. Keep documents away from the mic. Even if you think you are quiet, the noise will still be picked up by the mic.

During Recording:

  • Stay upbeat! Energy and attitude matter. Listeners evaluate a guest by audio.
  • Keep answers concise. Punchy, tight responses are best.
  • Unless something goes awry, we'll be taping your interview as if it's live. People want a conversation that sounds real, not perfect, and we hope you'll be able to enjoy chatting with the host, not worrying about what you might have said differently.
  • We do lightly edit for things like coughing or if you get stuck on a thought. So, sit back and enjoy the conversation.
  • Drink water. We will provide H2O to keep handy.
  • Be aware that the interview will be recorded on video. The video may not be published, but be prepared in case it is.

Promote the Episode:

  • You will receive an email with how to share the podcast episode on your social media platforms after it's released.

How to Listen:
  • Listen, follow, and review St. Louis Magazine's podcasts on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and most places podcasts are available, or at stlmag.com/podcasts.
  • New to podcasts? Follow these instructions to start listening to our shows, and hear what you've been missing!
