A MESSAGE FROM ARTS INSIDER MELISSA MEINZER

We’re in the final stretch of the holiday season, so most of what’s going on is Christmas themed—but fear not, Grinches. Here are plenty of things that are either not at all Christmas or at least a skewed take on the holiday. The New Jewish Theatre’s production of Into the Woods is extra in all the best possible ways, so catch it while you can. At the Kranzberg, Rose from the Titanic is pitching a movie based on her experience in Never Let Go: A One-Woman Titanic. Armory STL is turning 1, so celebrate with cake—and booze. Tom HĂŒck’s Evil Prints Holiday Sale is always a great place to find an amazing gift for the weirdo in your life. And the Darkness’ Krampus Christmas Haunted House puts the “slay” in “sleigh.” Stay safe, and have a great weekend!

Catch an evening show Thursday or one of two performances Saturday; the final show on Sunday is sold out. Tickets are $54, $49 for seniors and J members, and $25 for students. Wool Theatre at St. Louis Jewish Community Center, 2 Millstone Campus.
