Consider Blues at the Arch 0r Grub & Groove. Or if you like your music with acting and elaborate sets, then check out The Muny’s debut of In the Heights. Tennessee Williams Festival
Inspired by St. Louis’ most famous playwright, the annual festival returns with a series of plays, panels, and more. Michael Wilson directs the fest’s centerpiece, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, while Life Upon a Wicked Stage, directed by Brian Hohlfield, will feature three one-act plays inspired by Williams. Union Station’s 130th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate Union Station’s 130th anniversary this weekend. The party kicks off Friday with the Jeremiah Johnson Band from 5:30–8:30 p.m, as well as the Cars & Cones Car Show, featuring hundreds of cars in the south parking lot from 5–7 p.m. Then, on Saturday, start the morning with TruFusion Yoga hosting a free yoga class at Wheel Plaza from 9–10 a.m. School of Rock students will perform "Rockin' Out the Station" from 2–4 p.m., followed by music from Solis Armada 5–7 p.m. and The Band Feel from 7:30–9 p.m. And on Sunday, join the inaugural Market Mile run along Market Street from 7–11 a.m, followed by a post-race party. AUGUST 9–15
In the Heights
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s acclaimed musical makes it Muny debut. Set in New York City’s Washington Heights neighborhood, the musical tells the story of bodega owner Usnavi de la Vega through the catchy beats of salsa and hip-hop. 8:15 p.m. See website for prices. The Muny, 1 Theatre.

Grub and Groove
Francis Park is always hopping on weekends, but it will be especially busy during Grub and Groove. The popular festival features a full slate of music acts, a dozen food options, drinks from 4 Hands and 1220 Spirits, a kid’s zone, and merch. 2–10:30 p.m. Free admission. Francis Park.

P!nk: Summer Carnival 2024
