2024 Top Real Estate Producers

Frequently Asked Questions

To help readers navigate the process of buying or selling a home, St. Louis Magazine teamed up with research firm MESJ Associates to create a helpful directory of real estate agents who produced among the highest sales volumes in St. Louis. Below, we've answered some frequently asked questions about this list.

How is the list created?

With the help of research firm MESJ Associates, SLM contacts dozens of real estate brokerages across the 15-county St. Louis metropolitan area and asks them to submit the survey on this page to be considered for the Top Producers list. Submissions will be accepted now through February 5. Any brokerage with agents who sell homes in the metro area can submit nominations. The survey asks brokerage administrators to provide sales volume data for both individual agents and teams. A team is considered two or more licensed professionals working together as one entity; agents could not be nominated as individuals and as part of a team. Teams may be considered small (2–5 members), medium (6–10 members), or large (11–20 members). Those honorees who meet the criteria will be listed alphabetically as individuals or teams, without including the specific respective sales volume for each honoree, in SLM's June/July issue and online.

What qualifies someone to be a Top Real Estate Producer?

To make the list, an individual real estate agent must have sold more than $5 million from January 1, 2023–December 31, 2023, and a team must have sold more than $10 million during that timeframe. Agents must also have an active license and be in good standing, without any recent disciplinary actions.

Are agents able to pay to be on the list?

No. Inclusion on the Top Producers list is in no way dependent upon the decision to advertise. Sometimes agents and brokerages decide to advertise; however, advertising is not taken into consideration when compiling the list.

I’m an agent, but my brokerage did not receive or reply to the survey. How do we participate?

We'll notify you in early January 2024 when we start accepting submissions. Please visit this page for additional information, or email research@stlmag.com with additional questions.

How do I promote being on the list?

While the listings have no connection to advertising, we do also offer several opportunities to promote this prestigious distinction through an enhanced profile in the magazine and online. You may purchase a profile in a special advertising section to share more about your firm to help set you apart from your peers and get the attention of readers looking for your services. You also have the opportunity to purchase a profile on stlmag.com. For details, please contact Paul West at pwest@stlmag.com.
