One of the biggest perks to living in St. Louis is experiencing all four seasons. So, this week, I plan to embrace all that the brisk winter air has to offer by lacing up some skates and hitting the ice. When I say “hitting,” I do mean with my entire body, as I’ll likely fall instantly–but hey, it’s the effort that counts, right? Anyone else jealous of the toddlers skating without fear at the rink because they have the shortest distance to fall? Speaking of living fearlessly, scroll below for this week’s feature story on the mom behind St. Louis’ latest TikTok sensation and the owner of Grandma’s Playroom. Sierra Zagarri took an impressive plunge when she bought one of the metro area’s favorite places to play and made it her own, with a growing social media presence that should be the envy of all small businesses. I hope you enjoy all that St. Louis has to offer during this long weekend, from MLK Day festivities to outdoor adventures to creative indoor spaces.
