A MESSAGE FROM FOOD ENTHUSIAST MATT SORRELL

Just because Mother Nature has tightened her icy grip doesn’t mean you have to hibernate and forgo any culinary adventures. There are plenty of classes available for you to hone your kitchen chops, or bundle up and check out all of the tasty stops on this year’s Maplewood Sweet Tooth Tour. Even if you opt to stay at home, you can always try a new recipe, such as the bacon-wrapped meatballs from Chef Jack Mac. Then take your newfound knowledge, get some friends together, and host your own dinner party and show the cold who’s boss. At the same time, while we look ahead to the warmer months, George Mahe and Cheryl Baehr discuss their most anticipated restaurants for 2024 in the latest episode of SLM’s dining podcast, Arch Eats, available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or wherever podcasts are available. Bon appetit!
