It’s another snowy day. Fortunately, I braved Schnucks earlier in the week, along with so many of you. Thank you to the nice attendant at the self check-out line. Despite the size of my cart—well beyond the 15-item limit—she waved me through so that I could check out quickly and get back home.
On the design front, it’s a busy time. This week, I’m announcing the news that Castle Design is moving west. I also have a story for you about an upcoming applied arts exhibit, featuring the work of local interior designers, at St. Louis Community College Meremac. Last week, I decided to stop into The Dollhouse in Kirkwood. I had a glass of champagne (it was Valentine’s Day) and made a note of some of my favorite things in the studio/shop. Check out what made my list in the roundup below.
And, I’m getting super excited for this year’s Architect & Designer Awards party on April 1. Tickets are on sale now and I can’t wait to see you there.
Until next week!

“The Queens of Crime”
My bookclub–or, better said, the bookclub I’m rejoining after a multi-year absence–is discussing author Marie Benedict’s “The Queens of Crime” later this week. Next Monday, February 24, the bestselling novelist will be at the St. Louis County Library for a presentation and book signing.
