St. Louis has always been a beer city—but this month, it’s wearing that title with a little extra pride. Budweiser’s iconic holiday cans and collectible steins are back, and we have the full story behind this year’s rollout. Just as exciting: VinePair recently named Blue Jay Brewing the “Brewery of the Year.” Plus, 4 Hands enters the THC beverage space, Perennial opens a new taproom on Grant’s Trail, and we share some of the best pours and events to carry you into winter. Prost!

Perennial on the Trail opens in Kirkwood

Perennial Artisan Ales and Common Ritual Whiskey have opened a shared outpost in Kirkwood along Grant’s Trail. Perennial on the Trail offers six beers on draft, whiskey flights, and cocktails curated by Matt Hickerson (Veritas Imports, Cork & Rind). The bar doubles as a cyclist pit stop, with energy bars and bike gear for sale. A grand opening celebration is coming soon, but the bar is fully open, with hours from Monday through Sunday. Think of it as a refined beer break for trail-goers and whiskey fans alike. Read more here.
