Itâs officially Show-Me Craft Beer Month, with breweries across the state hosting pint drops and fresh collabs. At the same time, there are a host of new brews, events, and alfresco spots to sipâamong them, picturesque Point Labaddie Brewing, an ideal weekend escape hosting live music, a farmersâ market, and rotating food options. And as Fatherâs Day rolls around, consider an alternate to the typical âsummer beerâ by ordering a low-ABV stout. Prost!

The Scoop
đ„ HOT SPOT
One-of-a-Kind Cask
Civil Life just renewed its Cask Marque certification. It remains the only Missouri brewery with the UK-based seal of approval for cask ale. Unlike most beers served ice-cold and fizzy from a keg, cask beer is naturally carbonated, unfiltered, and poured at cellar temperature. Itâs tricky to handle and rarely done right in the U.S., which makes Civil Lifeâs smooth, balanced pours all the more impressive. Think of it as beerâs version of fresh-baked bread.
