While thermometers across the region revealed plummeting temperatures this past weekend, St. Louis CITY SC escaped to better weather. The club hopped aboard a charter and flew to Florida, where players and coaches will spend the next week and a half training in Port St. Lucie. So much of CITY’s success in 2023 can be traced to the work accomplished during last winter’s preseason, and as the club looks ahead to its highly-anticipated second season, these next few weeks of development will be crucial to setting a strong foundation. In this edition, we share five storylines we’ll be following as CITY prepares to kick off its 2024 campaign. We also highlight the recent acquisition of Danish defender Nikolas Dyhr and share updates from around the St. Louis supporters’ scene.
