Chesterfield's Fourth of July celebration adds B-25 flyover, parking changes this year: Chesterfield's annual Fourth of July celebration returns Saturday to the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (17925 N. Outer 40) with a few changes from past years. New to this year's lineup is a B-25 bomber flyover scheduled for 7:45 p.m., ahead of the city's annual fireworks display at 9 p.m. Parking and transportation have also been reworked, with complimentary shuttle service available from St. Louis Premium Outlets and Maryville Hockey Complex, while accessible parking has been relocated behind the Parks, Recreation & Arts offices. A dedicated passenger drop-off lane will also be available on North Outer 40. Gates open at 6 p.m., with family activities beginning at 6:30 p.m. The evening also includes live music from Fat Pocket from 7–9 p.m., along with food trucks, pony rides, a petting zoo, circus performances, carnival-style attractions, inflatables, and other family activities. Outside food and beverages are permitted, though glass containers and tobacco products are prohibited.

Soccer fans can catch the U.S. men's national team take on Bosnia and Herzegovina at a World Cup watch party tonight at The District. The match will be shown on the big screen with game audio throughout the venue, while Steve’s Hot Dogs serves smoked all-beef hot dogs, Narwhal’s Crafted offers frozen cocktails, and 4 Hands Brewing Co. pours beer specials.
In recent days, officers with the Chesterfield Police Department responded to several calls, including a juvenile Walmart employee who allegedly stole $2,000 worth of gift cards, the arrest of a 30-year-old woman who allegedly stole her father’s vehicle, and a 22-year-old woman who allegedly left a child alone in a vehicle. Police were also called to a home on Monterra Drive after a group of juveniles allegedly spent weeks ringing the doorbell and running away.
Dumont Creamery & Café is celebrating the grand opening of its Chesterfield location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 10. The event, hosted by the Chesterfield Regional Chamber, begins at 10 a.m. and marks the official debut of the chain’s newest location, at 17408 Chesterfield Airport.
Heating up the grill this weekend? The Smokehouse Market (16806 Chesterfield Airport) recently earned a spot on SLM’s list of the region’s best places for cookout supplies for its house-made bratwursts—including traditional, smoked cheddar, firecracker, and beer varieties—as well as its rotating seasonal sausages and classic links like Italian and chorizo.
With summer in full swing, the Chesterfield Police Department is reminding residents about its Vacation Inspection Program, which adds participating homes to police patrol routes while families are away. Residents can register by calling the department before leaving town or submitting an online form.
If you're looking to venture beyond Chesterfield on the Fourth, Eureka’s Independence Day celebration returns July 4 with live music from Steven Woolley and the Groove, local food vendors, and a fireworks show synchronized to music beginning at 9:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers (no glass), with parking available behind the Central Avenue Spur.
Westport Plaza’s annual Have A Blast Bash returns July 3 and 4 with two evenings of live music, family activities, and fireworks. Highlights include performances by Fat Pocket, the Charles Glenn Trio, and Playadors, plus a pie-eating contest on July 4 before the nightly fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m.
